It's always good to be reminded that it's not really about us. And it is not a competition. It's also not about self-promotion (though I see some posts even from my former law students that show otherwise). It's not about writing a paper or dissertation, winning over a certain law office, having a certain title or position, or such.
It's about how you have helped change the lives of others in a good way. Lawyering is a call to serve and to pursue justice.
